You know, Colorado might be nice for a family vacation, too! Would mid-August work? That way, it would be before David and Clare head back to college, Joseph heads to school, and Paul heads to a job. (hopefully).

Colorado would be a GREAT place for a vacation, August being I think an ideal time. If you like camping, I can't imagine a better place. The natural beauty... well, I figured out why so many Coloradans are eco-freaks, it's contagious!
I'd like to visit the cliff dwellings sometime, but they're about as far from me as you can get and still be in CO. Pike's Peak... you can drive to the top of that if you have a car that can handle gravel roads that go uphill... the Rockies...
Whoa! Clare's starting college next year? Did I know that? By the way if you ever want to get rid of her, she can come watch my anime for a week or so... but only if she brings fansubs I don't have... grin.

BTW, cool pictures. I love Colorado. Get down to Durango if you have the chance. It's a ways from you. But it would be worth a weekend.
And go to Colorado Springs and have a spendy dinner at "The Broadmoor."

I like driving off by myself, but for overnighters, I need someone along. To split the price, if nothing else. Hmmm... I need Rosie to come out here...
I drove 200 miles today, and got out a lot to look around. That's about my limit. Of course, as you can tell it was a lovely day for driving!
