Hey there mister Nad...
We might actually make that show. Let me know what to look for as it gets closer.
Good night all!
Bummer, that... niters Mister Bear.
I give up. Good night.
G'night! BTW the Green Bay news just ran a segment on the RNC. It was pretty pro-Bush :)
*nod* Honestly I'd have trouble evaluating your cat as well, and you know him far better than I. I think at this point the question alters from does it hurt, to will it hurt and will it get worse. He's managed with his condition and a blind eye for several years now as you say, and being in his teens is certainly a factor. There's always a risk with anesthesia and it's significantly increased the older the patient is. However, if it does progress, and it will, because glaucoma is a progressive condition due to the underlying causes, your cat would face anesthesia and a more difficult surgery at an older age. It's a hard question and one that I'm currently faced with with my own cat. Quintus is 13 and hyperthyroid, has been for several years. He's being managed with medication with some difficulty in keeping his blood levels stable, but he's an old cat and the other treatment options (radiation and surgery) are very expensive. When he's not stable, he's a very sick kitty, but when he is, he's happy and playful.
I guess it comes down to will this become the 'better emergency' in the future or can he continue to simply deal with it?
Wai! It's my birthday!
Now if only I didn't have a presentation to give. At least I get my first set of motorcycle lessons today, but Coy just isn't Beren.
and
Good Morning Everybody!
I'm sorry, were y'all sleepin'? :)
Aww, thanks!
Morning? Bah! It's nearly noon!
...and somewhere, it's after five...
So it is, and somewhere..... it is no time at all.
...actually, dawn just cracked here. It was barely audible.
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!
It does not have cornmeal in it.
Time for me to go to work. CUL8R
Heh. Why don't we just call it "Friday afternoon" and go back to bed?
*grin* sure, 'cause it is Friday afternoon.
Presentation over and free for the rest of the weekend, life is good. I even managed to avoid rhyming(mostly).
*Sigh*
Off to work now. Wish I had my cat's job.
