Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Doh! Well, I guess I'll figure out who's who next episode. I think I've got the gist at least.
Switched to "Three's Company" now.

Spoiler! -> The scarred guy with the glazed eyes and white hair was Johnny's future self... first time we've seen him! The third guy was Johnny's son J.J., all growed up. <- End spoiler.

I didn't catch it then. I realized the biggest surprise later when you heard the voice over of that same woman with more details. I thought "Wait a minute"!

We were the only ones in the theater!SSQ and I took the kids to see The Village at the 12:20 pm feature. There were five people in the theater besides us. We like to sit on the front row of the elevated stadium seats so we can put our feet up on the bannisters. We didn't arrive until almost 12:15, but were still able to have the front row almost to ourselves. There were two folks on the end of the row, so we got our favorite middle seats! Woo Hoo!

RE; the meals for the homeless. Clare's Girl Scout troop did a meal at the local Congregational Church for 6 families who were staying there. The girls enjoyed the experience.

Trader Joe's is a great store!! The prices there are usually cheaper than what I pay in the regular store! David and Paul are bummed because there are no TJs in Austin or Ithaca.

What do you use for an html editor? Or do you write it in notepad :)
I need to do an update too...in fact, a complete overhaul...but I lack the kind of wysiwyg html editor I used when I first set it up.
