New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
I sometimes slip those words in to trouble ticket descriptions. Especially if the caller is insistent that I make it perfectly clear that the world will end if the problem isn't fixed immediately. As far as I know, nobody has noticed anything out of the ordinary.
One thing I noticed about myself is that my misspellings consist of the word I'm currently typing, mixed in with parts of the third word further down the sentence. I guess my planning processor is overrunning my typing buffer.
I've always been a good speller, but I couldn't figure out why I was making these tyops (as we called them on another online service). I now realize I can't type, listen to a caller, and think all at the same time, without making mistakes. I just hope it's the typing that's taking the hit.
Heh, actually there WAS a reunion there this past Thursday and Larry Hagman was all over the news just for showing up. We went through the house, and you know, upstairs there is only one bedroom? It is about 30X30. There are only three bedrooms downstairs. The whole house is more than 4,000 square ft.
I don't feel right writing the word HUGE. It doesn't look right to me. ;~D
You have mail! :o)
That first Spanish horse was so intent on his footwork ... in the piaffe, his ears would stick out and with his head tucked it was as if he were counting ...
Trotting in place is hard on a horse ...
It is hard work. Every muscle coiled.
And we didn't see any ~great~ piaffes, IMHO, and many didn't do a recognizable piaffe at all. Many very pretty horses, and most with a lovely passage, but with a disconnect that happened at the piaffe.
Dang! thought this one got eaten up in cyberspace! Sorry for the burp.
I had never been to SouthFork before. Turns out, it isn't very far from home! 'bout a 20 minute drive.
Those are the most difficult movements that are ~tested~ in dressage. There are higher movements, like the Levade and the Capriole that the Lippizaners perform at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, but they aren't used in competition.
You ~might~ see some of that, if any know them, in the musical freestyle that is (I think) on Monday morning early. Maybe, I really don't know what the Olympic rules are.
Got church in the morning, so I'm off to bed!
Nighty night all!
A close FReeper friend of mine just asked for prayers because their mom has had a stroke and is on the way to the emergency hospital. They're off to the hospital now and probably won't be able to get back to me with news for a few days. In the meantime please add this to your prayer list. Thanks.
Good night Ruthy!
