Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Evenin' everybody! [sip] wassupanstuf?
2J: Your problem is likely one of two things: either your ISP has a server down (unlikely) or your settings for OE are messed up (more likely). Somewhere in your OE settings there is a place where you set the POP and SMTP server addresses. These things are set to whatever your ISP says they should be, and are probably something like pop.yourisp.com and smtp.yourisp.com.

Is that a mail-order plan, or do you get them from Walmart? I might be willing to pay that much...

I swear, sis...I will make that child a cup of Tension Tamer and put an ice cube in it long enough to cool down to just warm on my lip...he'll slurp it down like nothing. He loves it!
He likes to drink coffee with me too...with lots of cream and sugar. I think it's funny. I used to think my mom would come over now and then we'd have coffee together. That never happened, but now I sit at the table and sip coffee with my 5 year old!
I smile at God's way of doing things...

It's a mail order thing, like Netflix...they come in the mail and you can watch it and return it right away or keep it and watch it several times. We've really enjoyed it...it's one our few splurges. The boys are on a SciFi kick and I have a whole list that Fedora gave me ordered!
You can have two at any given time out.

I smile at God's way of doing things...Me too! Becky and I have a pretty good relationship and she sees me differently than I ever saw my mom. I try to be a fun mom whenever I can and the moment allows since my mom was very grumpy most of the time.
But I can be a real tyrant too, so I guess it evens out. *grin*
That said, I've let Becky drink coffee once. Once. I think there are still dents in the walls from her bouncing off of them!

Well, it is mostly cream...and I believe Cuban coffee is likely a bit stronger than I make! ;-)
Yep...I love my kids. Joshua is just across the hall in the tub right now, just talkin' to me...

Look for "Tools / Accounts". In that dialog box there is a "mail" tab. On the mail tab select the (only?) item for your ISP and click "properties".
It should be there. That stuff needs to match whatever your ISP sent you about how to set up your mail client.
How's that?

I asked him how he was doing and he said and I quote..."I'm fine, just playing for the last few hours."
He means he's playing for just a few more minutes in the tub before he has to go to bed.

Weird synchronicity of the day: working on a user's computer this morning, I saw that she had printed out a scan of that pic and taped it to the bottom edge of her monitor. So, Rose's cousin in San Antonio sent her an email with a bunch of kitty and doggie pics... I was looking at the pics, and about to tell Rose about the "hot dog" pic I saw this morning, when I clicked the last pic in the email and it was the one I just posted!
