New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Naw.... they're gonna cover badminton.
bastiges...
Hmm, that does sound interesting. I can see how a white wine would go good with spicy. . .
"are they ever gonna broadcast archery?... shooting?... judo?..."
I'd like to see those. I've also been wanting to catch Boxing and Tae Kwon Do. Is there a schedule of what they're showing somewhere?--anyone know?

Link there to show a grid of all sports, or search for a particular sport. ;~D
Thanks much!!!
So, when you're watching the horse-sports, do you root for the horse or the jockey, or are they a team?
LOL! Good question :) When you mention that, I remember watching the scene in FotR where Arwen and Asfaloth are fleeing from the Black Riders. I recall that while I was rooting for both of them, I was rooting primarily for Asfaloth because I knew he was the one doing the hard part!
It's a rider, not a jockey in this case... and I have my eyes on the horse of course, but you root for the team. :~D
Ok, I don't know horse terminology... rider, not jockey, right.
Do the riders all wear the silly English riding costumes?
No Jen, some of them dress like ballerinas. ~rolls eyes~
Judo recap's on now on Bravo.
They could wear Spandex... I think dressage is something clueless people like me can say, "that's pretty" about, while people like you get a whole lot more out of it. I think I'd have to understand what they're doing to really appreciate it.
Guess I'll go to bed. I'm bummed, I couldn't watch 'Amazing Race' tonight, the feed was down.
You're right, they could wear spandex, if tradition meant nothing...
Good night Jen.
G'night!

Gooooood morning!!
Steve's is a 1992 F150 in Cabernet Red...we got married in December of 91 and bought the new truck that next March. Vey basic, no power anything, no radio. Does have AC though...can't live without that, especially in Texas. Cost us $11,000 and we paid it off in 3 years. I've got a picture up in the attic of when we bought it...our first new car in our married life! LOL We were grinning like jackasses eating cactus!
It has been an excellent truck. I mean really steadfast. The tires are just about all we've had to work on up until a couple of weeks ago when that gadget that runs that huge belt got all red and burned up. Took Steve all day but he fixed it and saved us $700.
Oh, that's a pretty picture!
Yep...I think it's a good idea, for certain types of people. Just think, for the cost of basically just the plot, you could bury your dead fairly economically, but still with dignity. The family could even make their own casket. Here in OK you don't have to be buried in ANYTHING...
My friend that died a few weeks ago was buried in her family cemetery on her ranch. That's the kinda thing I wish I had for me and my family. I'd like to just be wrapped in a nice blanket and placed in a cardboard casket with daisies painted all over it...like the daisies on my chicken coop!
I know, I'm weird. LOL
