Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yes...about an hour ago. I liked it better when WGN had every game.

I've been packing. Got to get some big boxes for my clothes, but I'm definitely making progress. My dvd collection is packed... my artwork is packed...It sounds like you could use a portable hole--just don't pack it in a bag of holding :)

Not yet. I'm just getting started...I guess. They all start looking the same after a while.
Hmmmm.....red wine really doesn't go with fish.

I think they dropped a lot of games when they became part of the WB network.

Good evening, Ramius! I just finished my hot soak and my foot soak.
Steve took the jedis to Walmart to get his tire changed that blew out yesterday...now bad storms are coming in...sigh.
Better make some popcorn...

Had a good talk with the Belgian guy. We disagreed, but we kept it civil and I think, at least, I gave him some things to think about.
What it finally came down to for him was merely the WMD issue. If WMD stockpiles were found, he said he would have had no problem with the war.
That's a pretty easy point to argue.

Well, that's refreshing to hear. I'm finding it harder and harder these days to have civil discussions with liberals. Maybe talking about beer first helped--I should try that :)

Yup, it's hot. But I'm on vacation and my swamp cooler has arrived and works fine.
I'm a happy dude.

It sounds like you could use a portable hole--just don't pack it in a bag of holding :)Here I am in my room of dining, which because of its proximity to the outlet of telephony also serves as a computer command post; I'm on my chair of sitting having a cup of coffee.
Wasn't there an old TV cartoon about a portable hole?
