Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yikes... just remembered. Gotta go water the plants.

I'm sorry about your checkbook...I've not bounced a check "yet" but many times forgotten to write a debit payment in. It's always been at Aldi's and only around $50 which is the only thing that has saved me. Chin up friend...you are a wonderful mom and loving wife to your man and that is where it counts. 1Cor 13:1 You could be near perfect but without love, all is meaningless...
Had a good day today at VBS. Tomorrow the teacher is gonna be gone, so I'm fillin in...hey, they're only 4. :-) The neighbors we invited over never called back. I took that as God wanting someone else over instead. So, some other neighbors are coming over tomorrow night for blackberry cobbler and the ice cream. must say, the sample I had was vey good
Still don't know much about that homeschooling family I talked about before...there may be some learning disabilities in their family.
We had a family here in town that lost their 3 year old when it got kicked by a horse. My heart aches for them.
That's about all that is going on here. Take care 2J.
