Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Nope! I'm not furry goo!!!
I'm stretched out in front of the fan enjoying the outside air. All the degrees of it!

"Take advantage of this modest ranch home"
I agree it's pretty modest--might make a good extra storage area :)

I found out that I *love* teaching 6 to 14 year olds! I think you need to lay off the lembas...

Don't I wish I could have that house! For extra storage or not!

We've lost some degrees though. It's a comfortable outside temp now.

Outside air...?
Ewwwww....
To: Wneighbor
Hi there! :-)
It's hot here too. [pant] Finally a little breeze starting to pick up. Was really stuffy today.

You could call around to a few local dentists, ask what their procedures are, ask what their prices are. They'll tell you.
I'm drawing a blank on your current employment situation, so I don't know if you have insurance or not. Some policies will pay at least for regular checkups.
But call the dentist's office. They can't hurt you over the phone. ;-)
Personally, I hated the dentist for years. Threw such a fit when I was 8 that my mom didn't take me back until I was 13. I don't know why she let me get away with it.
Well except for the fact that the Steve Martin character in "Little Shop of Horrors" was modeled after our family dentist.

Hey, you converted everything to Microsoft's latest and greatest ... now what're you gonna do for these people you work for?
What could be next?

It's cooled down to about 70 here--got the windows open and there's a nice breeze coming in :)

Well, outside air is what the fan blows in the window. Feels pretty good! :-)

That's not an unfamiliar problem in the Stormhands' household. What saves us now is that we have access to our account online. So I can check 2-3 times a day to see what has cleared. It's probably excessive, but I've been burned in the past.
You might see if your bank has that option.
That way you can have one check book window open and one window open to Freep. When he asks you can say "I'm just balancing the checkbook honey."

No problem! Just trade your mithril armor for it :)

At least you can walk down to the beach to cool off. I have to use the water hose! :-)

Now that one would make a good tool shed!
(I'm trying to envision what kind of house would have that for a tool shed--LOL!)

Well... the exchange part is still yet to be seen...
If I had my way I'd "upgrade" everybody etch-a-sketches. Only about half of them would even notice. :-)
