Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Hanoi Kerry MUST NOT win on Nov 2 2004
Please distribute this url link far and wide.
Especially to military and vet groups.
Hanoi Kerry must be exposed for the traitor he is.
It will be updated on a regular basis.
It also contains links for voter registration
for the military AND civilians.

This is just sad.
While I'm working on the computer I've got the TV on in the background and it's showing this early 1970s movie called "One on One". The plot is basically about this small-town boy who comes to a big college in LA on a basketball scholarship and has a bit of culture shock, etc. At one point he confesses to his roommate, "I don't know much about clothes". In the next scene his roommate takes him clothes shopping, and after looking at tube socks, he comes out of the store with a leisure suit and bellbottoms. . .
Shudder!

I haven't seen him in anything in years. He did the voice for the Beast in "Beauty and the Beast" ~ at least the first one, we never saw the "Christmas one..."
