All in the Family and later on
The Jeffersons.
1970s to early 80s. (I think)

I only saw her a few times on "All in the Family"; never saw her get into it with Archie. I do remember Lionel making fun of Archie a lot :)

Never saw either show, but I didn't watch tv until 1992 or so. And then it was just Star Trek.

Heh...I double your parents would've let you watch this in reruns back then anyway.
They dealt with some controversial issues.

The reason we didn't watch tv wasn't so much the content - though that was a large part of it! - but because watching tv did bad things to my attention span. Mom had to cut me off when I was three. I guess I've just never developed the taste for it, yet.
