Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I don't mind neither.
Though I'll be happier with pictures from next Entmoot, I think...

I didn't mean that I'd disagree with ya. Just that...well, I'm kinda curious. He was probably in my career field.
But if he wasn't ever overseas or at a training base, I probably don't know him.

Most people here pour on the air conditioning excessively! I'm just a weirdo because I don't mind the heat. It is pretty normal to go into people's homes where they have the A/C t'stat set in the 60's. I just *shiver!*
Course, they gots the electric bills to go along with that! I'm too cheap. I like my budget to have fun money.... so much so that in cold weather I keep my heat low enough to stay bundled up in the house. Usually set between 60 and 65. I *can* wear lots of clothing and snuggle under an electric blanket and read!!! Then I can spend money on moots! :-)

No scenery here! Lots in other parts of the state. Trees we have some of - but not forests because any that were here were cut down for grazing land and oil.
50 miles south of here is pretty rugged terrain.

Sigh...somebody wants me to take my vacation sooner rather than later...
I swear I did nothing this time!

Heh...we're kinda plastered all over the threads...What's one more print gonna hurt? I just wanted to post in case anybody didn't want me too. I was thinking of printing the group entmoot photo without our names and the wedding moot closeup with our group.

I never thought I could survive summer in Texas, but I manage thanks to the air conditioning. I'm finding I get less tolerant of the heat the older I get, though.

Esprit is a well know Mall brand name, 2J. You gots a bargain!!Yay!!!
It's such a sturdy blouse I can see it being part of my wardrobe for years!
But that explains why I didn't know about it being a mall brand! I rarely go to the mall, and when I do it's usually straight to Foleys or Pennys or Sears...
The last time I went to the mall was to get a bottle of free lotion from Bath and Bodyworks...turns out it breaks me out in a rash whenever I wear it in the sun so I brushed it off on Hair! LOL
And before that, I went to the mall to get those free pairs of drawers from Victoria's Secret.

Fortunately the part of Colorado where I'm moving has basically the same climate as here. I'm hoping to keep the heat low, and not use the AC if possible, to save on gas/electricity.

Did you see RN was suspended?
From what I saw she didn't post anything suspendable.

From what I saw she didn't post anything suspendable.I'm amazed she survived as long as she did, she's rather un-tactful.
But then, there are a lot of posters Over There I'm surprised haven't been banned.
