Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Tree and flower and leaf and grass

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Ha!!! I can just see Matthew, almost washed away in a flash flood, being hauled out by a nylon rope by a firefighter or rescue worker, sputtering and shouting "Don't look at me, I'm wearing "The Lion King"!!"

Luckily, they won't be in these vests too much longer and I'll have to invest in some new ones...probably just those orange deals.

"The Death Star plans are not in the main computer!"

Where are those transmissions? What have you done with those plans?. . .If this is a counselor ship, where is the ambassador?

:)

Yeah, I can't remember the last piece of technology that was really so useful. I love mine.

Probably the wheel is more useful... or the hammer. Or the life jacket....

I believe that one's on DVD, just not the original.

Ok...if you're gonna start teasing Star Wars, I'm gonna leave.

Just kiddin'...I gotta go anyways. Steve'll be home soon and I'm fryin' up some stirfry.

See you guys in the morning!

"Ok...if you're gonna start teasing Star Wars, I'm gonna leave."

I wasn't teasing, just quoting! :) I used to be able to say the whole movie--gotta get back in practice. . .

Have a good night, 2J!
