First off.... they're brothers we are talkin' about. Could be they have no idea how old ~you~ are, let alone the new chick. ;~D
I am feelin' for this new girl, having just gone through the whole "meeting the family" thing. There are gonna be lots of you peering at her already, it's already hard, and now some of ya wanting to see ID. ;~D
I know it's not gonna be easy for her, either...which is part of the reason I'm kinda leery of making her stay here with me...alone...without a crowd to blend in with. For me, that would be HARDER...
But maybe it would be even more stressful to be in the middle of the whole gang all at once, at all times? I dunno. I guess partly I'm just resenting that he told me "She'll be staying with you" instead of ASKING if she could stay with me.
Naw.... a sister is easier than staying with your dad and all the kids. But a hotel would have been better for her sake. After a few hours of meeting new people that you ~know~ are assessing me, I need to get away. If your brother has never done that before, he doesn't know about the emotional overload that is going to hit both of them. Better to get together for a meal, leave for a couple hours so he can show here some sights, and come back later. Four or five hours at a time would be easier on her. Least - that's me.

LOL! You will notice that there are no mushrooms! They seem to turn naughtiest quickest!
I mentioned a hotel, but he said he wanted her to REALLY get to know us.
I guess at the end of this they'll definitely know whether this is gonna work, in any case? It's either that or one or both will run screaming!
Heh, if I were meeting an almost-fiance's family, I'd insist on staying in a hotel. What a high-stress enviroment for her!
We're going to need to hear all the gossip, tomorrow... tell us whether you think she's too old for your brother, that sort of thing...
Picking wild mushrooms is not for amateurs! Some of them psychedelics look just like the regular eatin' kind!

How long are they staying?
About a week. I'm taking them to the airport next Tuesday.

She won't be what you imagine, but I hope meeting her and the whole week is good! You'll have to give her some credit points for being the first new person to break into your family.... it sounds like a tough one! (and I ~know~ mine is a tough one) :~D
On the bright side...my brother likely won't play Rosie-baiting games with her there. He enjoys trying to get me worked up.
His character has me really curious about this gal. I'm thinkin' she's gotta be crazy or a saint or both. ;-)
Heh, yes, it doesn't look very good to annoy a sister in front of a girlfriend.
And look at it this way; once one of you has done it, it'll be easier on everyone else. That's why I think I'll let one of my sisters get married before I do...
