Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...That none have seen but we alone.

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I just called bull$#it on a lie'bral co-worker who said Reagan was a sorry President. I won't take her crap anymore and I ran her out of my office.

She was talking about how, although she hated Reagan, she respected the office and respected her friends feelings about him. But she had a problem with people saying that we'd even pay our respects (or keep our mouths shut) when Clinton dies.

Told her the line I stole from doug from upland. "Ronald Reagan wouldn't enter the Oval Office without his coat and tie on. Bill Clinton spent most of his time in the office without his pants on."

Freakin' communist b****.

Well done, Corin. I've had a few "looks" from folks, but I guess something on my face tells them "don't go there".

When I got to work the flag was flying at full-mast. When I called to complain, they said someone was out there lowering the flag because so many people had already called and complained.

There's hope yet.

Good morning friends .. I feel like a blacksheep the way I slip in and out once a month or so.

Really miss you guys.

The wedding was beautiful, we left the reception on the Harley .. hee hee.

And let me take this opportunity to say how much I loved Ronald Reagan. And Nancy, my gosh, what a classy lady.

Good for you Corin.

I work for and with pretty liberal people too, and though I never see them, I can't imagine them saying something to ~me~ like that. They are liberals, but they are also diplomatic.

The funeral is at 11:30 Eastern, a little over an hour from now. Will surely be on all channels.

They go to another VBS on the 21st...one of my really good friends is the wife of the local Lutheran minister (Missouri Synod). The boys love to go to their VBS. It's different. This year, they're doing Lava Lava Island! Intriguing!

Then, my mom's church has VBS in July...they like to go to that one too, even though it's exactly the same (Rickshaw something or other) as the one they're going to now! LOL
