Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
2J as long as you *wash* your feet I do not mind doing your toenails at all!!! If you stuck 'em out all stinky and nasty I'd tell ya to go take a bath first... but other than that it ain't a big deal!
I keep my toenails extremely short because of wearing steel toed boots so often. That also rubs the top layer off the nail sometimes and has actually knocked a nail off a time or two. I've been goin' barefoot in the yard too and my little toes are all mangled together and twisted from other little incidents so they look bad but I still paint 'em in the summer!
I did Grama's toenails for her sometimes after she got too old to reach them. It would bother her to have me do it because you know how old people's toenails get. But, I was glad to be able to do that for her. I *know* yours aren't like that! And I know from nursing that you are bound to have seen old people's toenails like I'm talking about and know what I mean!
Besides, I already put my toe separators in my travel bag to use on you. I can't paint my toenails myself without using those because the 3 littlest toes on both feet stack up on top of each other.
LOL!! Ok! Ok!
Yes, I know of what you speak with the old lady toenails. But mine aren't that bad...just stained from walking in the grass.
I'll bring my manicure kit. I don't know what to do with any of the stuff in it, maybe you could teach me!
I was thinking...are we gonna have OT's hotwings Friday night?
We got your back, spiritually speaking.
I probably won't know what to do with your manicure kit either! I don't even know what all that stuff is that they do to me when I go in for those pedicures. Mainly, I like them cause they do that callous scrubbing stuff and the massage! :-)
If I do my own toenails, it just includes trimming the things and then slapping on nail polish! I hope you aren't expecting that fancy salon thing that I don't know!
Hey! Did you and OT do footsoaks at your moot? I guess we could have footsoak time the night before the wedding! :-)
That's ok, it's the music I like, anyway. Early this morning, when I opened the link you gave us to the Red Army Choir, I thought my windows were gonna blow! I didn't realize the sound on my computer was turned up that much. Surprised me, it did, but it was lovely to hear.
Yeah, but you cain't beat The Embers singin' "Carolina Girls"...
I should know, I married a Carolina girl.
I don't know. We used to watch it a lot before the kids came along, then we just didn't watch much TV at all. I know Frank Oz did the voices of Fozzy Bear and Miss Piggy, and could have done more, but I don't remember.
Of course she does! Voldemort's gotta GO! I'm wondering now, though, whether it will be Harry or Neville who does the deed.
Have you seen any of the Muppets movies? The first two are forgettable, but The Muppet's Christmas Carol, Muppet's Treasure Island, and Muppets in Space are just terrific! I love seeing which big name actors show up in small parts!
It's almost 90 degrees right now. The boys are outside putting up the fence that will shield Gimli from view. I just brought them out a quart of ice water and a quart of lemonade. Luckily, they're in the southeast corner of the yard which has nice shade.
Shhh - I think he saw an old, pre-book 5 interview. And it was about *that* death. No spoilers, Fedora and Rosie are going to get there soon enough.
Hey, we could have a Harry Potter book 6 moot - everyone show up for the big release day. Might be next June, even. I'm definitely going to England for Book 7.
It's gonna be Harry, remember the ending of OotP?
We never did soak our feet!! Never really got around to it.
Oh, yeah, Muppet Christmas Carol is one of the best Christmas Carol adaptations ever. I love that one.
Had to take a quick break and eat lunch!! I was famished.
Yeah, but the bride's wearin sneakers, so it won't matter!
A hot foot soak prior in the evening prior to getting married would seem to be a very relaxing thing though...don't you think?
I think it would.
I just sat and visited with my best friend and my (then to be future) sister in law...we rented a hotel room at the Marriott and just hung out. It was real nice and peaceful...had a breakfast delivered the next morning.
Peaceful and quiet is good...better than partying hardy by a long shot! LOL
