I think I about got it figured out. Now to import the terrain data we gathered! I'll wait until tomorrow (or later today) for that!

She and your family have lots of prayers.

Thanks. I think she's beginning to get to the point where she's not aware of the disease, so it doesn't bother her like it used to, and that's a real blessing. When she was first diagnosed she just clammed up for a long time; like if she didn't talk, no one would know. They knew, because before, she never stopped talking!
I get it honest, you see.;o)

I'll be keeping you in my prayers, too.

SSQ had just finished Grad School and started his first job when Reagan was elected. We were so happy to vote against the peanut farmer!! We just knew that things were going to get better!

That was the era of 17-20% interest on home mortgage loans. That's when they came up with the misery index! We had despaired of ever affording a home without my having to get out and work, and we wanted to avoid that because Paul was only a year old.

We figured that Reagan would whip those idiots in DC into shape, and he did! It took him a while, and he had to suffer a lot of fools, but the people were truly with him!

Maybe Ron and Maureen will get together, get God's ear and say "protect our country from Kerry and Klinton."

They'll be like the persistent widow with the judge!!

It's tough, as you know. I'll keep both your Grandmother and your Mom in my prayers. I'm sure your Mom is worried for herself, as well.

((((((THANK YOU!!!))))))

Just my tiny little tribute:

"May I beg you to tell me what kind of man he was?"

He was a Great Communicator

Consider what you do NOT see

The Heritage Foundation

"...It sounds absurd, as I tell it, does it not? And was it another man, any other man, you would cry out 'oh, what pitiful stuff!' and dismiss it as mere enthusiasm; but with him you feel your bosom glow..." Jack Aubrey - Master and Commander, p116.

Somebody thinks I'm no fun.

In HIS case, I'd wear it as a badge of honor. He's a strange one, he is.

From George Will's column: Remarkably, the 1930s formed in him a talent for happiness. It was urgently needed in the 1980s, when the pessimism of the intelligentsia was infecting people with the idea that America had passed its apogee and was ungovernable.

I guess the intelligentsia thought we had forgotten their attitude when Reagan was President. They're finding out, to their detriment, that we are no longer held captive by a media willing to peddle their lies and negativity. We have different choices, we're making them, and are the better for it!

With all the momentous news today, and being swamped at work, I'm just getting around to posting this. I recently sent 6 Hobbit Hole knives to Scott, a friend of Greg_99's. I sent them on May 21, and got back a nice postcard postmarked May 28. Someone has some FAST service to wherever they are.

The card read:

--------------

Rick,

Your box arrived today and the contents are much appreciated. I will distribute to the R&R troops today and let you know if I hear any feedback. I will also check out your site and forward around to my list, so you may get a few more hits.

Gestures like yours mean a lot to the troops, so thanks for taking the time, and hello to Greg.

Regards, Scott

Friday I got back the first 10 Hobbit Hole knives from BladeMatrix with the laser engraving. It costs us $4 apiece now, as opposed to $6.25 from Highest Honor. The picture shows the older style on top, the newer engraving on the bottom. I decided to go with the bigger, heavier lettering so we can identify our new source of Hobbit Hole knives as Block Two.
