It was a very funny movie. I loved Kathy Bates line after plowing into the car of two young, skinny chicks who had jumped into a parking place Bates' character had been patiently waiting for in a parking lot "Face it honey, I'm older and I have more insurance!"

Hope you found out what happened that caused Perk's box to be returned. Hope it was just the vagaries of the mail delivery in the war zone!
Did you get any more damage from the storm at your house? Did you see 2J's post about their brush with what sounded like a tornado? YIKES! I remembered your posting last night about the hail that damaged your window. I thought about tornadoes when I read that, and prayed for your safety. Hope all is well now.

LOL!! A young black woman who was an actor in a troupe that was doing a re-inactment of the life of Harriet Tubman at our kids' school told me I reminded her of Kathy Bates. It must have been cause I was the only one for miles with a Southern accent. ;o)
I told her I hoped it was the Kathy Bates from Fried Green Tomatoes and NOT the one from Misery (a very disturbing movie!).
