My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

FAIRY SPATTERING
You believe love is fairy spattering around curves
My silky voice is your soul water creating life
I am your Prophetess...

The weirdo alternate dimension of TIRE REPAIR.
*add echo effect*
Had a nail in a tire and had to get it taken care of.
BEFORE going and having a security tag taken from a shirt I'd bought.
The clerks had forgotten to take it off.
*ugh*
The ladies were amused, and busted on me about it.

Simmer
She waited for me, in the corner
of the pub, just like I told her
like we arranged, you see.
Busy, so I told her,
cares and affairs of
the day, driving all things away
including her.
So, there she be,
fine Hibernian temper,
daggers aimed at the door jamb,
for when I walked in.
Will she listen to the truth:
that I rushed to her side?
Turned aside duty for her?
Sang as I hurried to her,
rose in hand for her,
all these to please?
Can I turn that firm frown into
her dazzling smile once again?
Watch her face glow with delight?
The glare of hurt to the stars of the night?
Yes, I've known all those,
and shall once more,
when she cares for me once again.

Wow feather, that's really nice. I have to chuckle reading some of my "old" stuff. It's very nice of you to consider me and include me with such good writers. It's quite embarrassing but nice just the same. :-)

Thank You snippy. I remember my days of reading first works- I would just cringe. That passes and we move on to continue writing. Our writing improves from year to year and we take it all in stride. :-)

Once I'm in My Bubble Bath

Once I'm in my bubble bath
I like to stir up more.
Half the suds go in my eyes
And half go on the floor.
The fun is in the bubbles 'cause
They giggle on my skin,
And when I stick them on my face
They dangle from my chin.
And when I splash them hard enough
They pop and disappear,
And then my bath time's over 'cause
I've made the water clear.
