My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I wish I were a wolf Do you, now?
Then pay homage...
The Alpha Male
He rules from a secret place,
one that is not a place,
where no human has ever trod.

His people are legion,
the breeds and the hounds,
the packs gather at His call,
shivering sound in the night.
From the Stronghold, He comes,
Death in His jaws,
strength in mighty sinew,
no prey outlasts Him,
mightiest of His race.
Fear Him, bend leg and bow to Him,
chieftain of all the tribes,
He who needs no name,
only His crown and title:
The Alpha Male.

Today
Yes, it was marvelous and fearful
Exciting and tearful
at times it was mirthful and poetic in form
my eyes are now closing and the
day is reposing and I am willingly
dozing and dreaming of star gazing
comets blazing across night skies

Good night feather.
We had a big long thunderstorm and shut the 'puters down for quite awhile. Sam says they only have about one per year like this. LOL. Something I used to see weekly in the spring!

254 ("'Hope' is the thing with feathers ")
by Emily Dickinson
"Hope" is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all
And sweetest in the Gale is heard
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm
I've heard it in the chillest land
And on the strangest Sea
Yet, never, in Extremity,
It asked a crumb of Me.
