Did you know they're supposedly turning both "Have Space Suit Will Travel" and "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" into movies?

I didn't know that. I think both would make good movies if done properly, but I don't hold out any hope that they will be done properly.

Has there ever been a good movie based on one of RAH's books?

"Puppet Masters" started out good, but then fell apart about halfway through, IMHO. "Destination: Moon" was faithful to Heinlein, but I don't think it works well as a movie; too much "Gee whiz, look at this effect!" going on, to the detriment of the story.

And unlike good popcorn flicks, like "Day After Tomorrow", Heinlein doesn't deserve to be mocked and scorned. If it looks bad I won't go.
