Sheesh! Just had to slap down a lie'bral co-worker.

She was complainin' that the pro-lifers were out in force today with huge signs, including pictures of aborted babies. She was appalled that there were children out there too. Like "children shouldn't be seeing that." Granted, I'm not likely to be standing out there with them cause I wonder about the effectiveness. But I said to her...

"Too bad the babies in the pictures can't be told not to look."

Then we got off onto whether the Nick Berg video should be shown and I said it should. She was ranting about how people were saying what happened in the prison was now justified because we didn't cut anyone's head off.

I said no, but that the difference was that what was wrong in the prison was because of who WE are, not who they are. The prisoners are scum.

And then I told her how Kennedy (*ptui*) and Kerry were politicizing this and I mentioned the fund raising letter.

In some six years, I've rarely been able to shut her up.

But today, she had no response.

I've been more outspoken than usual at work lately and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of staunch conservatives I work with!! *happy day*

At the client site, one of the guys I work with is a flaming liberal, leftover hippy. The sort that thinks the media has a rightwing bias. I listen to him spouting off and keep my lips clamped together because I don't want to tell my elders that they're idiots.
