Sheesh! High skul Engrish...Mrs. is gradin' her finals and research papers. I can assure you she cares. But a whole pack o' students think she's a real b*tch these days. She ain't lettin' 'em get away with nothin'.
She's also starting out teaching 'em research at the begining of the year next year.
See this is where I still have some problems with homeschooling (even though we're likely to be going that way with Luke). Wife is having to re-teach a whole bunch of stuff these kids should know. And in a lot of cases, the parents are stickin' up fer the kids.

Writing can be difficult to teach. Most other subjects, with the exception of math, don't really need 'teaching' as much as supervising what the kids read and discussing it with them. Writing needs to be gone over, discussed, and gone over again. Parents of older homeschoolers are sometimes dealing more with their younger ones, or are just TIRED by that time. Not a excuse, just a possible explanation.

Let her know, there's some of the students that actually come away appreciating that. Myranda can't say enough good about her teachers that were like that. She sticks up for 'em continually when her friends talk about what b*tches they were. When she was visiting here a few weeks back.... that was the teachers she went to her old high school to visit. :-)
