See this is where I still have some problems with homeschooling (even though we're likely to be going that way with Luke). Wife is having to re-teach a whole bunch of stuff these kids should know. And in a lot of cases, the parents are stickin' up fer the kids.

Because this is stuff these kids should know by the time they get to this class. Don't get me wrong. I doubt they know it in public school either.

But they should simply be further along than they are.

And, to be fair, it's not across the board. Some students are excelling. She has a 9th grader that she'll be teaching privately next year because she's already past some of the 11th graders.
