New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
No I was volunteering! - I am too shy to be in the spotlight, can't I just type it? :~D
I bet there will be enough people fighting to post... the ceremony itself will just be a few minutes.
~snicker~ No, but I had a dickie I used to wear with a sweater...
--->busting out laughing...
~ahem~ So did I! Couple of them.
I never needed more than one.
I had a couple different sizes and colors... for each outfit.
What if I giggle during the ceremony! It's just so preposterous for me to stand up in front of people and be serious!
Ok...here's the agenda for this weekend...
OT should get here around lunch on Saturday and we'll have sandwiches and visit in the backyard. What kind of sandwich do you like, OT? I plan on an early supper so we can go see the movie at the cinema (I just like to go to the cinema and it's cheap.) So supper will be hotwings. OT, can I cook hotwings on the Road Grill?
So then off to the cinema we go, the jedis have been wanting to go so they might go too, who knows about Steve.
Sunday morning, is either a big hugh breakfast, or if you wants to go to church, a small breakfast. We're open to whatever you want to do on Sunday morning. After breakfast or church, whatever you decide, we're going to Woolaroc. Likely pack sandwiches and such. That'll be an all day trip, so we'll get in and go to Rons Burgers for supper. After that, we may sit in the back yard for a while or just head straight to Arnies, depending on the time.
Monday morning, I hope to head to Fort Gibson National Cemetery for their services before sending OT off home.
Whattaya think?
Hair, do you have a basic agenda for Wedding Moot?
See above!
Yes. My agenda starts earlier than yours... but just so you know what's happening:
Tues: ecurbh's family starts flying in. They are staying at hotel in Gig Harbor.
Wed: bringing his folks down here for the day and to let ecurbh's noises and nephews ride the horse and see the place.
Thurs: Barbecue for ecurbh's family to meet my family at the beach house. You guys start arriving in town and meet up with Scott. We ~might~ be able to see you on our way home, we'll have to play that by ear.
Fri: Some of ecurbh's family will be doing touristy stuff and/or helping with final prep on the beach house. We'll plan on meeting up with you in Gig Harbor in the afternoon with the final destination being here for all us girls, ecurbh will end up in Gig Harbor with his family Friday night.
Saturday - wedding. I will ride up with you guys to the beach house. Sonya will be involved too prolly and will have another car if we are full.
Saturday night - prolly have some people stay at the beach house, with overflow back to Scotts maybe.
Sun: Come back down here for playing with horses and camping in the witch's circle... Or... since everyone will have seen the place already Friday, we could skip that and just hang at the beach. We can play that by ear where we go and when.
Mon: 2J and OT fly back out (I think)
Tuesday on.... whoever is still around, we'll think of something, either camping or touristing.
I wonder how that would work with seeds? I suppose I'd need to let them sprout, and then lay the fabric over them, cutting holes for them as I went?
I'm going to look into it, I think. I may not want to use it EVERYwhere in the garden, but it sounds very interesting!
ROFL! - I spelled nieces wrong in the draft, and didn't pay attention to the suggestion in spell-checker!
Why don't you (anonymously) drop off a loaf of your home made bread or a batch of brownies at their front door?
Noises for neices... fits with bothers for brothers...
I've thought about that...but not sure what they'd think! But it's an idea. Trick would be catching 'em when no one's home. That's rare, except maybe on Sunday mornings. Hm...
So, any more thought on where we want to meet? Stephen wants to come, too. I told him it'd be just us wimmin, thinkin' he might think that'd be boring, but he said "That's OK, I'll be quiet and just listen." Heh...this I gotta see!
I figured that was intentional! LOL
Ok...when can we check out that big building...you know, the one of Frazier...
Are you talkin' bout the space needle?
Yes!! The space needle! Sorry...the name escaped me for a sec...a draw-back from my wild ute.
Boy - I dunno... You guys maybe want to do that Thursday before you head south? Just so you know.... riding the elevator up to the top is a little expensive, and I don't think I'll have time to go to Seattle in all that ruckus... It's ~town~ you know.
