Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A sudden tree or standing stone
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Just got home from BJ's and got both RoTK AND Master and Commander! I got RoTK (2 disc set) for $19 with a $4 instant rebate (woo hoo), and the M&C 2 disc Collector set was $25. We're fixing to go watch the boats, now. We had the M&C soundtrack playing through the super duper TV sound system today, and the sub woofer had the floors vibrating!! It was awesome!

Im looking forward to the bit that has been rumored to be in the EE...where Faramir talks with Pippin.Oh, that'll be cool!
Speaking of Faramir, I noticed he was in Van Helsing--just got back from seeing that. He wasn't very Faramir-like in there, though.

Is 2J short? If so, the wife points out she might be able to squeeze onto our short-couch.

How tall are you? If you aren't [tall], it is possible that you might be able to fit on our short couch in the living room.
To: HairOfTheDog
3'5" will fit. Hang on let me go get the roll tap and measure the max height you can be and fit.
