A sudden tree or standing stone

Can you see killer whales from Orcas Island? That would be way cool. Here there's kind of a neat restaurant in a harbor near Lake Michigan where you can see some of the big ships going towards the St. Lawrence, but unfortunately no killer whales here of course.

Can you see killer whales from Orcas Island? Sure... but heck... we sometimes see killer whales (aka Orcas) from my own deck. They're very cool, in a whole 'nother world of cool.
In the greater Puget Sound the resident pod of orcas is generally known as "J" pod. They show up all over the place.

In other news... I got caught up in the very uncrowded Walmart and bought $40 worth of troop supplies. We've got 7 regular bunches of guys now. I got 3 things for each.
