Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A sudden tree or standing stone
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

No--it wasn't our thread-killing powers. 'Twas beauty killed the beast. . .

I'm about to learn the final secret of the Hiten Mitsurugi style! :)
I meant to mention before that I loved the episode where Sano learns the new technique from Anji. As for the part where I'm at now, I wasn't expecting to meet Kenshin's master--way cool! His teacher's commentary on the inner conflict between his Battousai and pacifist sides is really interesting. Don't get why Kenshin is mad at Kaoru and Yahiko, though. I hope Aoshi doesn't end up evil.
Is Saito secretly a spy for Shishio?--I have suspected that from the beginning and my suspicions have gotten stronger the past few episodes. . .
BTW you have some more story ideas.

I think I'm about a 4 hour drive from g'nad.

Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli could run that far in four days! :)

Not Gimli. He's only good on short distances.
To: Overtaxed
He's very dangerous over short distances :)

Let's keep the Kenshin off-thread - don't want Talon, or Rosie for that matter, to get spoilers. I'll reply seperately.

'kay. I was trying to word it in a way that would avoid giving away spoilers, but you can reply separately if you prefer. When you do I have some questions on the comic I'll ask you then.

I could, cause I don't think g'nad's chickens could keep up with that many people!
Steve's been aware that a visit to MO was in the future, so this would definitely happen!

I'd love to see that tape of g'nad singing, Ruthy! We had to leave before that so I missed it!
