Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A sudden tree or standing stone
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

What impresses me about Olivia is what he's able to do with lighting.

Glad you're back safe! I had fun with Clare. Too bad you weren't in town longer.
UGH - construction has just increased my commute by half an hour. Half an hour of just sitting. I am going to have a nervous breakdown.

I am going to have a nervous breakdown. You just gave me flashbacks of when I used to commute for an hour and a half on the city bus--I do not miss that experience! You able to read a book while you're commuting? Usually I was able to read something, but sometimes it would be so crowded there was no room to even pull out a book, and then it was twice as bad.

I never knew because I've only seen Olivia's work in ads without the full name, so I always assumed it was the artist's last name, LOL!

Hi, Jen, I'm still around, but it will only be for a few minutes. Been reading some FR stuff about the cartoonist Ted Rall to get my energy level up to drive home.
Works like a charm!!
