A sudden tree or standing stone

Home is behind, the world ahead,

Part of the "pleasure" of this happening today was that the weekly garbage pickup was yesterday... which means that even if it is really dead, it's gonna have most of a week to "ripen" before pickup...

I'll be very disappointed if they don't name a moonbase after RAH.
One of the neat things about Babylon 5 was that the series creator used famous names for some of the ships and characters on the show... so, for instance, a freighter named "Asimov" appeared a couple of times. One of the recurring bad guys was named "Bester", after the author Alfred Bester. (The character was a telepathic cop.)
