Food is good. What are you going to get? I have to see what's on sale! Cauliflower, for one, 'cause I KNOW that's on sale, and I'm craving it. And chicken and fish...maybe some other meats, depending. Definitely lots n' lots of veggies, and now I can have berries, too, so I may get some blueberries or strawberries. Mmmmm!
Heh...I'm goin' out with jeans and a tucked in short-sleeved shirt for the first time in several years. Feeling almost slender these days...least until I remember I got almost twenty pounds to go. ;-) But this diet is working, and that's a wonderful thing!

Well, from the news on TV right now it looks like I'm jumpin' from the fryin' pan into the fire. We've had tornado watches and warnings all day. Lots of high wind and hail. Much rain.
But, I suppose I'll head south from Dallas sometime Saturday and it looks like ya'll got worse weather there. At least looks that way on the local TV news.
I'm almost packed and ready to leave WF today. Tony and I are leaving Dallas at 6 tomorrow morning to go to Kansas for that funeral. Don't know for sure when we'll be back so don't know when I'll go south. Have cell phone numbers... for all 4 of you I pinged. Will call.

If he doesn't teach himself first. He's ready.When our #2 son was about 3, I'd read to him at night to get him to sleep. I'd point the words out as I read them, and say the letter sounds and before he was four, he was reading on his own. He had remembered the letter sounds and was able to figure out most words on his own!

OT, you had the Sasser worm the other day, right? You mentioned that the puter kept shutting down and wouldn 't boot? How did you resolve it? Joseph got it on his computer, and he can't open it to get to the MS page for the fix.
I'm pinging you too, Rose, in case you have any words of wisdom for us.
Clare had installed the updates on my computer and hers, but didn't do Joseph's, and he got it the next day.

Okay, I am leaving for a few days now. Going to Dallas now to stay the night with my ministry leaders. We will leave tomorrow morning at 6 AM to go to the funeral of our sister who was killed Sunday night. The funeral is in Hutchinson, Kansas so I have no idea when I'll get back to Dallas tomorrow or Saturday.
I will be going south to home for some days after that. I will eventually get someplace where I can connect the laptop but not sure when. I'll say what 2J says lately, "expect me when ya see me."
And uh, Bear - you and Rose can expect to hear sooner. :-) From a hungry elf! Soon as I have a good idea when I can get down there. (Get them steaks chicken fried!)
