Thanks Bear. I'll check that out. The site I have now comes with the company set up. They want anywhere between $500 and $3000 to set up a site with a shopping cart (depending on how many products I want to sell).
Maybe I'll just go with my own name and try it with PayPal.
Now if I just had about 3 weeks of uninterrupted time...

Just starting here! - I don't remember! Well, the guy with her kept referring to her as "Sam" and the President kept calling her "Dr. Hil."
Maybe they at least explained it as a nickname...it won't keep me awake tonite.

oh, one more thing before I go for the night...today's Stormhands quiz:
True or False
Corin's stepfather was admitted to the hospital over the weekend with heart palpitations.
Answer: True. He seems to be okay, but they kept him for observation and tests. I think with his pacemaker they just have difficulty regulating that and his medications. We hope.

You may get something that looks like the following:
After these popups, the system will reboot, and you may notice a sluggishness of Internet response. I've also had people say they couldn't get onto the Internet, that their systems hung when they tried to get on the Internet, and that the system kept rebooting.
If you're not sure whether SASSER is there, search your hard drive for the following files:
avserve2.exe
*_up.exe (where * is a string of digits, as 11583_up.exe)
win.log, which contains an IP address.

Thanks, Rose! ;-) I spent all my free time yesterday morning tryin' to talk my brother through cleaning off his system. I don't think I've convinced 'em yet that they need a) a working antivirus program that is kept UP TO DATE, and b) to apply Windows updates frequently. *sigh* I'll keep working at it. You'd think Sasser woulda taught 'em, but...
On the other hand, so far I haven't seen any sign of Sasser at work. Guess we're doin' something right...
