Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Smoked Salmon is a whole 'nother league. Real apple or alder wood smoked salmon is like the finest chocolate or caviar, almost candy.

There's no payload on Sasser.a , b or c... though "c" is nastiest because it floods networks with packets. There was no indication of any trouble on my watch last night. I'll see what tomorrow brings.
However, a near-full-moon was out, and the ID10Ts were calling in droves. Vey busy for a midnight, and half (I kept track) of the calls really were idiotic. Normally it's only 10%.

I love my dad's smoked salmon!
Dona, who wants the menu for the smorgasboard to actually ~go~ together thinks it doesn't got well with everything else... We say it doesn't ~have~ to. It stands alone... If it offends her sensibilities, put it on it's own table! :~D

Smoked Salmon is fabulous with Savignon Blanc, a little caviar and Yukon Gold potato salad. Or...have it with ripe tomato and basil salad -- wow!

Sure! I think in a buffet table, everything goes that we want to go. It's a free-choice situation!

If the relationship between my novel's hero and heroine ever gets this unbalanced and meaningless, just reach out and wack me, hear?Don't worry: if your novel turns out anything like this film, we'll be sure to have you committed.

Heh, you might get to try my chile sauce when you're up here. It's almost a salsa...but not quite...really still more a chile sauce. It wouldn't work with the salmon either, but on a taco!

She's just got other finger food goin' on I think!... meat and cheese and bread trays, veggies.... they go with everything. Dad said "Why don't we fire up the barbecue, have hot dogs for the kids and burgers?" She said it absolutely wouldn't go.
We don't get it. We don't have to get it! ~shrugs~

Now that was a BAD movie.
Did anyone else catch the tv caption that read "Marshal Law"? We were in hysterics.
Bedtime. It's going to give me nightmares, though.
