It ended under green.
Think I'll put on some tea too.

The bottom compartments hold the gas tank, tools, utensils and space for assorted bbq goods. Three grilling zones (brass burners) and there is a brass and stainless side gas burner (for pots) on the left side "tray". All stainless with brass burners -- 99 year guarantee on the stainless and brass. Auto ignition...and the best part was it came all put together, so I didn't spend many hours and cuss words constructing it!

I'm gonna have Red Zinger I think.
Too bad I missed the race but I'll be here for the one tomorrow!

We had lime margaritas. They were a bit too sour for me, I had to sweeten mine.
Oh, I'm going to buy trashy romance novels, of course, what did you think I'd buy?
Good night! Sent you a short email.

I just got this email from Jerry. Our latest stuff arrived! Again, I have no idea why he's using all caps. ------------------------
I RECIEVED TWO BOXES TODAY INCLUDING THE KNIFES. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF IT. I AM SHARING THE GOODIES AND PASSING OUT THE KNIFES TO SOME WELL DESERVING INDIVIDUALS AND FROM MYSELF AND THEM, OUR DEEPEST APPRECIATION. I AM TAKING MY FIRST R&R AT THE END OF THE MONTH AND TRAVELING BACK TO THE STATES TO SPEND TIME WITH MY WIFE AND CHILDREN. I MISS THEM ALL BUT MY POSITION HERE MAKES UP FOR A LOT OF THE LOSS OF NOT BEING AT HOME. THE GUYS AND GALS HERE ARE IMPORTANT TO ME AND THEIR MISSIONS AT THIS TIME IN OUR LIVES ARE ESSENTIAL TO OUR COUNTRY AND LIFESTYLES. GOD BLESS AMERICA THAT WE AS A COUNTRY CAN AT LEAST MAKE THE EFFORT TO MAKE THIS WORLD A SAFER PLACE TO LIVE IN. I REALIZE THAT NOT EVERYONE BELIEVES IN THE WAR ON TERRORISM BUT BE ASSURED, EVERYONE OF THESE MILITARY TYPES ARE DOING THE JOB THEIR COUNTRY HAS ASKED OF THEM AND THEY BELIEVE. IT IS GOOD TO SEE IN THEIR EYES THAT THEY ARE NEEDED AND APPRECIATED. GIVE MY BEST TO ALL AT THE HOBBIT HOLE AND AGAIN, THANKS. JERRY

If she goes for it, I'll pour a little bit in a saucer for her.

I haven't had Red Zinger in a while! I used to get those variety packs that had Red Zinger mixed in with a bunch of other flavors, but lately I've been buying specific brands for my headaches so I haven't gotten those. I need to pick some of those up again--I miss Red Zinger! :)
To: Overtaxed
Mine too! I was just off in the kitchen getting a cup!

I get kidded on my cupboard full of teas. I have about a dozen kinds open now and 2 dozen more unopened in the pantry.
Because having tea in the evenings before bed has always been such a part of our family life I gave Myranda her own teapot for graduation last year. She says she settles in for her cup of tea at night and it makes her not so lonesome for me when she gets homesick! :-)

When I read the all caps for some reason it gives me the image of a WWI soldier in the trenches telegraphing over the sound of mortars crashing!
It's always very encouraging to read Jerry's emails. It makes me feel bad for him and the troops when he mentions not everybody supports the war on terror. I hope that despite the media they're getting the message about how many of us do support them. It reminds me of how important the support of the Hobbit Hole really is for morale.

Kitty's the boss of the house.
Nothing yet. She's kinda sacked out.

I used to have about a dozen kinds--right now I only have about four :) Back when I lived in Milwaukee there was an Asian grocery store that stocked large boxes of tea wholesale, so I'd pick up like several hundred bags at a time for dirt cheap. BTW the other night I was looking up one type of tea and I discovered the company that makes it gives away free samples if you fill out a form on their website:
Yogi Tea: Free Samples
Makes me wonder if other companies do the same thing--might be a cheap way to restock my tea supply :)
The teapot sounds like a nice gift! I have one of those; and I also got one of those steeping things for a gift once (don't know what the name of those things are but they're like little wire balls that you put the tea in to hold it while you're steeping it).
