Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Sorry, didn't mean to make your head hurt! Sent you a reply, but if your head hurts you can answer later if you want. How's Ranma? I'm about to start Kenshin Ep. 4. Don't know if I mentioned I watched Ep. 3 last night. I loved the plot with Kenshin vs. the corrupt policemen (whose voices, I noticed, sounded like some of the same actors who dubbed Voltron). The mystery of Kenshin's past is starting to be revealed, too! Wonder what's going on with that military guy he used to work for--I'm sure we'll see more of him in future episodes. . .

I swear, the psychotic thing can tell time, and also has som epathological 'need' for me to be in the room by 9pm.Oh, yeah, they'll do that :)
Good talking to you! Talk to you more later!

Mmmmm....green tea with mint, lemon balm, and ginger root.

That does sound good! Think I'm gonna go make some tea myself--have some blueberry tea left. . .

Ep. 4 - Sagara Sanosuke's appearance! Cool! The first Kenshin I saw were as episodes on Cartoon Network. I wasn't very impressed because the dubbing was so lackluster. In particular, Sano came off as a big idiot. Then I got the anime and it turned out he's pretty cool.
You'd think we'd see more of Mr. Military, but no. Actually the police chief shows up now and then to ask for Himura-san's help. Hmmm... how long before Jinei (another ex-hitokiri, only he's not so ex) shows up... not long, that gives you more an idea of who Battousai was.
My headache may go away. It's not your fault... just had some stress at school today, paying bills, etcetera. I may attempt a reply in another episode or so.

Found it in another book! Lemon balm is supposed to help migraine. The recommended dose is 1-2 teaspoons of dried leaves per 1 cup boiling water and steeped until cool. I'll have to go find the conversion for dry vs fresh.
Also found that ginger is good for headaches too. They recommend taking it in a powder (500 mg) or fresh 2 1/2 teaspoons.

my SNCOs thought I was nuts, but they appreciated the nightcaps...Reminds me of long ago when I used to teach camping stuff to kids. We'd go out for 3 day weekends and no kids were allowed near my canteen. hehehe... That was 'afore I quit drinkin'.

Hehehe.
I've made it before and she didn't react to it.
Another time I made it and she nearly dived into the cup.
I can't remember if it was the dried leaves or the fresh leaves she reacted to.

Got your package!! This is an excellent addition to the troop packages! Thanks! If I were there, this is stuff I would *love* to see coming. Would remind me of home. Must be the Texican in me. :-)

This tea (which comes under several different brand names permutated from "Head-Aid") helps with headaches and also comes in vitamin form if you don't want to drink tea:
Yogi Head-Aid Tea
Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer also helps prevent headaches.
