Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

And it serves you right.... wickedness is it's own punishment. Sometimes. And sometimes it's just more fun.

Yep, that did the trick all right.
Sometimes I think some people just have too much time on their hands.

Waddell Creek! One of our favorites...we kind of miss it here in the City. We had some great times going right up the creek to a pool about 200 yards beyond that bridge. Sigh.
Go ecurbh! Ignore away! Study hard!

Did you guys often go all the way to the falls? - We started too late today, but I'd like to do that next time. In all the time I have gone there with the horses... I've never really even seen the falls, since you have to walk on foot to them and I always have a horse with me.
Walking that today made me want to hurry the process of getting ecurbh a horse/truck/horsetrailer so we can go ride!

He's got a one-time design job that might make him a good month's salary. But he has to learn SQL first. He's been studying for about a week!

Sonya: Yesterday Tim and I went to Fred Meyer and there was a lady with a 4 or so year old toddler boy in the cart and when he didn't get what he wanted just started screaming and throwing a fit. I pray that our kid does not behave like that!!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
Jr. did not visit a grocery store from age 3 until age 6. I am not making that up.
We have GOT to continue this friendship/thread(s) so you can keep us updated. I just hope you're around with a video camera the first time the kid projectile barfs and it goes down the inside of Sonya's dress.
Luke had acid reflux. I got all kinds of barf stories.

Heh... one of the brothers had acid reflux, too. Mom would feed him and hand him off to one of us girls to puke.
