Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Pretty pictures! Looks like you had a nice walk. :-)
I had a nice chat with Debbie over nachos and coffee. We solved all the world's problems for the evening. :-)

Wouldn't it be simpler if you could just be in charge?

Those women of whom you speak have obviously never been in a real altercation with a man. Just takes once to figure out we need an edge. *sigh*

Dangerous work without a lot of protection on a boat like that. Lot of folks forget about the Coast Guard in much of the country, but not around here. Thanks for seeing it. You're right. There isn't much protection on any RHI for immediate and close-aboard threats. The whole purpose of the RHI is to get close to the bad guy with some firepower and to do it really quickly.
I don't know what happened, but I'm only guessing that these guys on the RHI's managed to get in front and in between the bad guys and their objectives. It would appear the one of them was too close and too exposed to the blast.

Hi there... I'm still around for the most part. I'm going away from time to time to time, to get my bags packed and such.

Yes, muh MUD is an old-fashioned rpg. Work has been stressful lately and rather than take it out at home, I induldge in a little virtual hack-n-slash.

Good morning!
It's a beautiful day here. That's a bad thing. It's primary day and I want all the unmotivated voters to stay home, not vote for Specter!
Oooh, for the first time in years, a Pennsylvania primary that matters! I'm going to vote after class today.

Who knows. I dreamt about this stupid election last night. Usually our elections are too late to matter - the candidates for President are all chosen - but this time, it gave Toomey time to get his message out.
PA's hunting RINO today.
