Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

It will either make sense or you won't care anymore where you are. Either way... problem solved.
"No, dude, really... have you ever imagined that, like, the whole solar system is like, you know, like just an atom and like the galaxy is like a molecule in a speck of dirt... and whooaaa... like the whole thing is just in some dirt under the fingernail of somebody in a whole bigger universe...?"
No, actually, I've never thought that. That's silly.

But rather appropriate for royalty, I'd say.
Ooooh, someone ordered pizza. I'll be back. Maybe.

I ate brocoli for dinner. The meatloaf just didn't appeal. So, I get ONE piece of pizza.

Mmm...bratwurst! Hard to find good bratwurst here. How'd ya cook 'em?
I had chicken marinated with ginger, soy and garlic and then broiled, and sauteed spinach, mushroom, and scallions. I made some broccoli, too, but was too full to eat it! Have to have that tomorrow.

Cool pic of the Asteroidea class specimen! :) Is that 14 arms I count?
To: JenB
Or "Roy G Biv" for the rainbow colors.I always found that one easy to remember--partly 'cause it became one of my nicknames in freshman physics class after the teacher introduced it :)
You just got a big ole email attachment which hopefully didn't fill your inbox.

I preferred "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge". Can't remember who used that one...

I had a mnemonic I used to memorize the first two rows of the periodic table; except I forgot it, so I guess it wasn't very helpful. . . :)

Mmm...bratwurst! Hard to find good bratwurst here. How'd ya cook 'em? Well... turned the grill on, put the bratwurst on, turned 'em over a few times till they were done, and served on buns with preferred condiments (ketchup for me, mayo and relish for Hair). ;~D Didn't marinate them or do anything else fancy. Makes for a nice, quick, simple meal.
