Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Still round the corner we may meet...

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Fedora will rush as fast as his cookies will bake :)

I do require instructions on what to watch first, though--must--have--order. . .

We will work on the uncool sister and eldest brother after we finish the process of converting the other sister. Can they be trusted not to snitch, though?

Uncool sister won't snitch, she's agreed to try one anime if we give her massive help. Brother... well, not if he knows what's good for him.

Ok, so watch Kenshin, then why not mix Ranma with one of the others? It's too silly to take too much of, and Esca or SP is much less silly.

Oh, yeah, and if you're like me, when you're listening to Kenshin, his voice will strike you as really odd for half an episode - then it's just right. But ugh, the English dubbers for that suck. I mean, really suck.

I'm also enjoying not being hungry all the time!

That's the best part of low-carbing. WTG on the 5#!!!

I thought about watching that movie but it looked too chick-flick for me. I don't suppose there were pyrotechnics or comic violence?

I don't make a very good girl, do I?

It's a scream! It's a slam on the silly games men and women play whilst dating. She's working on a project to drive a man away in 10 days, and he's answered a bet that he can keep a woman around for the same. Vey vey vey funny.

See, I don't like the silly games people play when dating, and I don't actually know what they are. It sounds like it's a funny movie, but would annoy me (I like my movies to be either escapist, or something like Jane Austen).

I just don't like watching things about people who are supposed to be friends, or whatever, wilfully decieving each other. Maybe I'm just a naive little boring person.

Just answered your email :) I guess I've been assigned to watch Episode 1 of Kenshin now, so I've gotta open that in a new window which might slow down my FR/email access temporarily--back in a bit. . .

Fair enough... but deception does make for the most interesting plots.

OOOOOH- Big TWIST at the end. Hahahaa! I love it!

Seems like they ALWAYS have to spoil modern movies with those.

I mean...kissy parts are OK within reason...but some stuff I'd rather just use my imagination for (or not!)
