Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Thanks for the prayers... I'll let everyone know when I hear more.
We are going outside to wash Bay and go for a ride. Too nice a day to stay inside all afternoon.
Bye!

I think I found a candidate you all can throw your support behind....LOL! Now there's an interesting political angle; radical Muslims as Orcs!

You're correct! :) Barrymore was famous for not using makeup in that, at least by legend. I worded that kind of sloppy--I just meant the way Hull portrayed it looked somewhat similar in certain ways to Barrymore's (though not necessarily in that picture--you can see it more in other shots).

It's here! It's here!!! :)
Check your regular mail.

My friend just replied on "Dr. X". He has it taped off TBS a long time ago. He says maybe check Sinister Cinema.
To: Fedora
*Sniff* No luck.

So...are you going to get the Deluxe Collector's Edition? One of these days :)
I had to run out after my last post. No luck on Sinister Cinema, huh? Doh! I'll keep checking--gotta be out there. . .

It's got Dr. Pykle and Mr. Pride.

But the scale had me down 5 POUNDS from last week. Oh, YAY! I was praying last night you'd be down so you didn't get discouraged. That is the best thing about the various low-carb diets. You almost always get a little kick-off, which gets you motivated.
5 pounds! Wow, you did GREAT!

Sent you some real-mail in reply, Fedora-san. If you have time tonight, watch episode 1 of Rurouni Kenshin and tell me what you think. (I've watched that episode three times now. It's a really good intro and I think well done).

5 pounds! Wow, you did GREAT! I'm happy about it, in any case! Just hope it continues. I basically went up and down with the same two pounds all during February and March. This had better be different!
I'm also enjoying not being hungry all the time!

Okay!--sent you a reply back. I was about to ask you what I should watch first, so I guess Ruroni Kenshin it is! What order should I watch the others in?
To: RosieCotton
Yes, that's a great part of it, too. There are days, on the diet, when I have to force myself to eat enough, because I'm just not hungry.
Anyway, good job! ***Cheerleader kicks*** Go Rosie!

On the downside, I think your flu may have come to town...had one out and another who went home early, and though I'm not sick YET my chest feels like it's starting to get stuffed up. Hooray! Ugh.

It doesn't matter. You've got all of Esca and Scrapped Princess, but the subtitles for Esca are bad in some spots. You've also got two seasons of Ranma, which is wild and crazy and stuff.
No huge rush on getting it back, though my sister may kill me in her attempts to get more anime. I don't need to have it for a couple weeks - not sure when the parents are going out of town next, that weekend I'm planning to introduce the uncool sister and possibly the eldest brother to RK.

So, Fedora... I know I said no rush, but Rosie needs cookies... the kind that won't hurt her diet.... :-)
