Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner we may meet...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

No, it's the other way around. I get Hawaii, she can deal with the rest. Maybe I'll take New Zealand too.Use island hopping starting with Hawaii :)
I took a nap after my last post. Did you finish the last SP? :)
To: Fedora
Yep! Now, if I can just steal my anime back from the sister...
Wow, just lying here, watching anime, I feel sooo much better. Of course, tomorrow I'll be dead again. Got to find time to get to the doctor.

Do you think maybe the problem is that I "Hah-ed" when I should have "Hoh-ed"? Hmmm. . .

More Ranma. It just gets weirder. And now the anime has different stories than the manga, which is great.
On the other hand, my illness may not be the only thing making me feel delirious.

You can read the first volumn of the good military SF online,
here. It's a good way to get hooked.

Wacky how? Wacky in that I had to investigate some guy trying to use the Acrobat "digital signature" feature to sign his expense reports. --a method that is not authorized... and then try to explain to my boss why digital signatures are worth somewhat less than the paper they are printed on.
In the end it was kinda fun, 'cuz I faxed him a similar document that I produced with a phony "digital signature" on it, just to show how easy it was to fake.
[sigh] [sip] I'm back now. I took a little time away on the kerry medals thread. I don't think I'm getting anywhere there.
