America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
In the Criminal Party debates, Senator Kerry let loose this gem in response to a question "Is God on America's side [in the war on terror]": Well, God will -- look, I think -- I believe in God, but I don't believe, the way President Bush does, in invoking it all the time in that way. I think it is -- we pray that God is on our side, and we pray hard. And God has been on our side through most of our existence.
Senator Kerry is NOT sure whether God is on our side?
Aristide has fled Haiti, and rebel troops are positing themselves to move into the Capital. The head of the country's Supreme Court has taken over as President, as called for by Haiti's Constitution. The rebel leader has said that he acknowledges Alexandre as the head of the government.
A deal has been struck with Paksitan that would allow United States troops to operate in a part of that country where The Evil One is believed to be hiding.
The Return of the King wins 11 awards at the oscar, including Best Picture and Best Director.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Mom gave me the story about this CD player and the CDs it contains. Dad used those during chemo to isolate the pain. They were purchased for that purpose.
I understand why the cd I found in the player was there, and the volume turned all of the way up.
All I had to do was provide batteries. ;>) And that ever-present loving smile. And be grateful for the gift that my father left me.

What a lovely lovely day you had with your daughter and family. Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderful day! And your description is fantastic. I'm so happy for you and your family. Now, maybe it's just because I've been searching in vain for a record, any record at all, of my grandparent's marriage, the family historian in me is pleading with you to print this out, save it on your hard drive, do anything so that someone might easily find this account of the day's events, say about 70 years from now!
What I wouldn't give to find just a record with the county clerk, much less an entire description of the whole day......the way you've done it!

I'm off to bed. My house is finally clean after 10 days of neglect, the laundry is caught up, and the fridge has mostly good food in it. Here's to staying caught up...:)

You can come help me then .... *grins*
Actually, it's work that I'm behind in. Two days off for a snowstorm right at the end/beginning of the month didn't help things at all. Worked very late tonight trying to do 2 days of work in one ... same thing again tomorrow ... and then we start on payroll ... *sigh*

Explosions in Bagdad and possibly Karbala as well (breaking news)Don't know what the news on this will be by morning but tonight it sounds bad ... early reporting is that there have been at least 5 explosions and at least 5 deaths (though that number could easily go higher). Iraqis seem to have been the targets.
Just checked back on the thread ... the news gets worse with each post ... by the time definitive reports are in, the news is probably going to be extremely bad.

Thanks.
What gets me is that the doctor during her last 2 visits explained that he did not want her living alone and that since she had family willing to care for her she should do just that. The cousin refuses to admit it.
Locks will be changed on the house, checking and savings will be moved to a different bank. All things that shouldn't have to happen, but must.
Enough of my whining!!!
How are you this morning? I think it rained overnight.
