I wanted Meg's room. Having a bunch o' brothers myself who at times resembled Sandy and Dennis, I would have LOVED a quiet place like that to escape.

Plus she had Calvin, who turned out pretty OK.

The book I liked best, though, she wasn't the main character - Charles Wallace was. That's the one I mentioned. In that one, Meg is already married to Calvin and expecting a baby.

I need to re-read all of those. I should check half.com - I'd love to own them, as I'd re-read them over and over, I'm sure. OK, so they're kid books...so are many good books!

Rosie, that is an excellent book! Just because it's readable to a young person doesn't make it any less an excellent book!

Steve read "The Bronze Bow" in the time when he was deciding whether or not to accept the Lord as his Savior! It's about letting go of anger and turning your life over to the Lord and I really believe it was instumental in softening his heart.

You get those books and read 'em without embarrassment young lady! ;-)

Oh, do get those books. They are cool. I liked "Swiftly Tilting Planet" but thought it was a shame Calvin was barely there - he was cool!
