Bakshi Gandalf has spastic hands...keeps milking a invisible giant cow. Or that's what we decided it looked like.

Hey, you're right--LOL! I had noticed the spastic hand thing before, but didn't realize an invisible giant cow was the explanation :) Hmmm--I think next time I watch Bakshi LotR, I'm gonna have to MST3K it :)

Elf-boy is a LOTR nut. He has seen the movies many more times than I have, except for ROTK ~that one I won't let him see yet since he is only 5.

The other day he informed me that he liked the Bakshi film (shudder) better than the Jackson film. The only reason I can find is that it is possibly because one is cartoon, and the other is not.

Heh...if you stick around here, you'll see references to "chat viewing", though it's been awhile since we've done one. We have a Yahoo chat room and another chat room set up on ecurbh's site, and once in awhile we'll all watch a movie together while chatting. It's a lot of fun! Takes some planning, of course, due to the different time zones and all, but we've had some pretty good sized groups occasionally.
