the story the herd read was about Nicholas Gage... the author of Elena... she was his mother...I just saw anotice tonight in the Unitarian Church where Clare's Daisy troop meets that he's coming to some meeting in the area in the near future. I didn't read it too closely, just saw his name. I caught my eye cause at first I thought it said Nicholas CAGE was coming to town! Did a double take and realized I was wrong.

Hey sq...been meaning to get back to your post from a couple of days ago asking how the kids liked homeschooling. We are doing well...I think you saw the girl's spelling list for this week and know that she missed 3 for her pretest...we'll see how she does for the actual test today. :-)
Our homeschool group met for the first time yesterday and I think we are really gonna like that. They meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.
Anyway that is what is going on here. Now if I can just keep thenewboy from using the school books for a chew toy!
