The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Goodnight all! Time to hit the couch with a movie... gonna try watching Unbreakable again. The last copy was scratched, so Netflix had to send us another one.

Actually Bear.... I am not sure which anime I remember.... could have been a battleship (I do think it had a red bottom) but it was a spaceship. The pics from Marine Boy didn't look familiar.
Googling Images for Marine Boy was kinda frightening though.... so I am gonna just be comfortable with not knowing.

I still like the Hanna-Barbera cartoons the best. What ever happened to them? They're on the Cartoon Network and its spinoff, Boomerang, the latter which specializes in 60s and 70s cartoons. They show most of the classic Hannah-Barbera stuff and a lot of the more obscure ones as well, along with related non-HB stuff like Bullwinckle Banana Splits. The ones I watch most are Scooby Doo, Superfriends, and the 1960s predecessors to Superfriends. I also like Fractured Fairy Tales, which is hilarious :)

We had to turn the heater on again. Well, I did. Msdrby would prefer to live in the icebox right now.

Well... the story behind "Space Cruiser Yamato" was that the WW2 Japanese battleship Yamato was raised from where it had been sunk and refitted as a spaceship.

PE and I are gonna build a "castle" bed for Elf-boy. Bunkbeds.
It will be enclosed, with a tower that conceals stairs to the top bunk. Underneath the stairs of the tower, there will be a door of sorts leading to hidden storage space (i.e. small closet for toys). On the bottom bunk, there will be a window that has a curtain. The top bunk will be open to the ceiling ~a staging area for battle.
