Only before we get to the backup keg. I'm not drinkin'. So, I can just keep shootin'! :-)

Actually, at the beach there just aren't skeeters. They don't like the saltwater, or the salt air. The skeeters seem to only live back away from the water.
'round here our only bugs are the sand fleas, and OURS DON'T BITE.

The moral to that story is that you never want to examine anything that closely.

I only had about fifteen on each leg - probably because I wore jeans most of the time. They're mostly gone. I think the itching is in my head at this point. What happened?--did y'all cross some Neekerbreekers? :)
To: Ramius
They do seem to be running some kind of cycle though, and it looks like the ones I have are in the final stages. Big black dot with a red bump. Honey, I'm startin' to think ya'll got something different than I got. Mine were gone in 2 weeks I think. Yeah, they itched all that time... but they went away. No black dots etc.
Maybe it's a Wild Turkey/Sandpaper infection you've got there! :-)

Loved that show.
To: Wneighbor
We don't have skeeters that will need shooting at the beach house.
(Picturing the scene with birds in the Magnolia tree in Steel Magnolias)
Not skeeters here either.... Get some flies because of the horses.... but only a few if I have been good about spreading poo.

I wanted to see if I had got the whole thing.... folk have always said they will break off and leave the head inside.

I still have some that itch.... and I have not sanded them or poored expensive booze on them.
To: Professional Engineer
Oooooohhhhhh.... [pant]
To: Ramius
Ahhh... so you don't have chiggers. You don't have skeeters. Your sand fleas don't bite. Gees! How can you live like that? :-)

Yeah, I've heard that too. Hard to imagine a decapitated head able to keep doing bad stuff, but I did see something like that on Star Trek once.
bye all...got run off line for a bit.
To: Fedora
We got eaten alive by something at Entmoot.
To: Wneighbor
We have the occasional Cougar and/or Bear. But not lately.
To: Fedora
Oh, yeah, the Neekerbreekers of Doom. Funny thing was, the bites didn't show up until after we got home. Maybe the airport was infested.
