The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Some things take time, and with Steve in school I don't have a lot of down time! But I intend to actually start on the slip cover this weekend...the research is done.
Be nice if I could post a picture by early next week.
Noodling will have to wait till this summer...I don't have a wetsuit which would be the only way I'd get into the cold water.

Me too Corin. She has too many projects for us to keep up with now.

Though at least the beef didn't swim right in the muck at the feedlot...I hope... No, but they do drink the water from the ponds they poop in.

I, for one, will be most disappointed if she noodles before she finishes the slipcover. It is not the role of a visionary to deal with details like follow-through.

Yes, they do drink the water from the tanks they poop in.
And I used to swim in them tanks as a kid.
ewwww... and thought it was a treat just cause we loved swimming anytime!

Now that we are past the muddy fish, slipcovers, and yacking! I wanna know why Ramius has chosen a coffee cup over...I dunno....say a Lady? Do you have something against girls OR do you have a ground-filtered fetish?

Hmmmm. I must be a visionary then. You may say Im a dreamer, but Im not the only one...

I love catfish. It just mortifies Steve no end that I like catfish better than any other fish (since he's from the Minnesota North Shore). It's oily, you know? I like that. It's why I like smoked fish so much...it's oily.
I like that cheap canned fish in oil too...
Don't like tuna, but it comes in water...maybe I should try the oily kind again! LOL

Well.... ya saw that pile of unfinished projects and some of the fabric collection I have in the wedding dress photos last night.
I think my dreams are too big for my capabilities often.
On another topic. I have *lots* of Hawaiian print fabrics in there. The reason I haven't gone and gotten a shirt is that if I ever get my sewing machine working again I could just sew up a shirt in an afternoon.... but, that could be yet another dream. LOL

It depends on the catfish. Too often it tastes like the bottom of the lake it came from. I hate that. But, if it doesn't taste like the lake bottom I love it!
However, bass would be my favorite fresh water fish. Must be the Texan in me.

I've already bought the slip cover pattern...Steve and I mulled over the "how-to" instuctions and figured out the yardage. Now he wants to go with me to pick out the fabric (because it's his ottoman too, I guess). Therein the problem lies...it'll be Sat before he's available to do that.
But we're well on our way with the slipcover...and it shouldn't take very long, it's not a difficult pattern.

Do you have something against girls OR do you have a ground-filtered fetish? Neither. Not hardly. :-) But it would be fun to point out just how silly the city of SF has become. I mean... who are *they* to deny me who I really am? I love coffee and I cannot help it. I was born this way.
To: Wneighbor
I grew up on the rice canals, you know...that's the kind of fish I've eaten...rice canal fish.
Can you imagine? LOL

Oh...you know how I talk about the river that I lived on for a while? That river was the San Bernard River.
I love living on rivers and would do it again if I could.

Heh.... Cattle crap where they eat. Trust me... there is no non-mucky spot in the home of a steerI know! But they don't have semi-porous skin and live immersed in it!
Tryin' to keep positive here... ;-)

I'm waiting for Bear and Rose to chime in on the Mexican Ft. Worth moot.We can't make it this weekend, we have other stuff going on. But we could probably make it next weekend, on Saturday. Beyond that, our schedule is pretty much open!

LOL! I was gonna tell you to be careful. What does the Bible say about coffee and man marriages. You may be persecuted for your love and passion of coffee
