The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

doubt we'll get more than four tho'... oh well... all we can do is ask... the Spirit takes it from there...Ya got the right attitude there gnad. I started a home Bible study for single moms back in 98. I lived 35 miles outside Waco and most of the ladies I invited lived in Waco. I figured I'd be having 2 or 3. But, those 3 really wanted this. First meeting I had 6 ladies. After that it just grew and grew. Got to where we didn't have enough room in the house and were having to use 2 rooms to sit everybody. I'd sit in the doorway between the 2 rooms.
Truthfully, that's part of the reason I get so listless here. Myranda and I both tried to start a home Bible study here. Nobody ever showed. We've gone to 3 different groups already within our church and they just fizzle. Need that Spirit intervention.
Myranda and a friend had a peer home Bible study in Waco also. They met at the friend's house. It was a goin' group too and I had a blast bein' one of the adult leadership people. I liked workin' with those teens!

oh yeah?... arm wrestle yuh fer 'em... gotta be the left arm tho...They'd probably be hunks of rust, unless they were expertly cached. If they're decent, and even exist, we can come to an understanding.
BTW, it's a bad idea to stash stuff in PVC tubing, despite all the talk of that. PVC outgasses dilute hydrochloric acid, which is nasty on most things you want to preserve.

Even if ya pick an alternate song to sing try to listen to Ray Boltz sing that song sometime. I think you'd like hearin' him sing it just once.

I was shocked that I had so many driving so far to my house for as long as they did too. After 2 years I ended up moving our meeting place to my church because of the space consideration. Several of the ladies who had been coming were not my denomination and didn't feel comfortable coming. And other's just quit coming. The group definitely got a lot smaller - but it was ongoing until I moved up here. Another lady took over for me, but the group didn't last. Sad.

I am good mstar! I've been working hard getting my house in order lately. Finally got motivated to get up and make this house the way I want it with Myranda gone. Prolly very healthy of me. LOL
Girl it's been so long since I've seen you here I've wondered where you were. Thought maybe you and Terry were overseas or something. Have really been glad over your last posts about Aimee though. Myranda is trying to make a decision now as to whether to go into Master's Commission as was her original plan last August or to go to Southwestern Assemblies of God in Waxahachie. I am at peace with either of those plans for her. I know which I'd like for her to choose but I'm praying for God's plan for her and not mine.

So a guy who was pretty good fifty years ago but in general is highly overrated? Yer gonna insult alot of folks in two very different genres with a comment like that.

Girl, I don't know where I have been. We almost were overseas. Terry was scheduled for classes in England for Feb. then the boss there resheduled for March. . .so its March now. Its been crazy as far a schedules, traveling, ect. It just seems to all go together after a while. Anyway he is on his way to Dallas in the am to meet with one of his fellow employees coming in from England. I wanted to go, but Aimee' doesn't. So I guess I am here for the week.
Have you seen Myranda? Is she OK?

ROFL I have a feeling that ole GW was wantin' an autograph from the King in that picture!I see nothing wrong with that image. If GW can have so much fun serving the troops in a Bagdhad chow line, he'd certainly be thrilled to meet a real celebrity.
Bush just exudes so much genuine humanity and humility, which I think is especially important in his job. I watch his body language, and listen to his voice, and I can't detect anything fake.
As opposed to Bill, who put on a fake "ol' buddy" to cover raw ambition and bullying. Or Hiltery, who had a hard time hiding her hard-edged cruelty and lust for power.
