The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Good morning!

Getting ready to drive to work in the itty bitty car. Going to be strange.

Plus I have to hold my coffee between my knees...the cup holder is busted. What did people DO in the days before cup holders??

Cute picture. Luke looks a lot like you.

What'd he get?

*snif* I want my van!

Remember I was trying so hard to justify having one but didn't think I could, really? The longer I have it, the more I think it DOES make sense. It's hard to see in a little car with all the snowbanks, as I mentioned...plus the way I usually go to work has a lot of rough spots where a low car like that bottoms out. Plus I gotta take trash to the dump. Plus it comes in handy for pickin' up furniture and such so I can just DO stuff without major planning. I couldn't so much as pick up a good sized show shovel in the other car.

Sigh...it's only for today.

Good morning!

Woke up with a sore throat but I've taken medicine and feel somewhat better. It's cold, but not that cold. Should be an ok-ish day.

Hope my new computer comes soon.

We've got two people out with a stomach bug. Boss wrote in yesterday to say he was "horribly ill" and we should hope we didn't catch it. Other guy was in for several hours yesterday before going home...so we're all exposed. Sigh. HE wrote in to say he'd been in the bathroom all last night. Thanks for sharing...

I don't have time to get sick. And I can endure pain...but nausea is one thing I really don't handle well.

Am I staying up? - It's 5:30. Dark and cold.... Seems like 'back to bed' is a better idea.

More cars and a carrying case for them. Those were actually "extra" Christmas presents. We looked at what he was haulin' in for Christmas and put those back. Plus he got a couple of computer games that I'll install tonite.

I can't remember what you told me about it. Assuming Jr. ever gets to watch tv/movies again, is Equilibrium okay even tho it's rated R?
